Our Mashed Pumpkin and Apple recipe is great for babies over 4 months old. It can be made even more interesting by simply adding broccoli or pumpkin!

Mashed Pumpkin and Apple

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tbsp cooked and mashed pumpkin
  • 1 Tbsp cooked and mashed apple
  • 2 Tbsp cooled boiled water
  • 1 Tbsp Farex Baby Rice

Method

Step 1

Combine pumpkin and apple in baby’s serving bowl. Mix in water and Farex to make a porridge-like consistency.
Tip
Add some cooked broccoli to pumpkin before mashing for a variation.
Pumpkin can be replaced with sweet potato if desired.
Increase quantities as baby’s appetite develops.
