Very Berry French Toast

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pieces thick cut, day old bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1x 120g pouch Heinz® Apple Blueberry & Strawberry

Method

Step 1

Remove crusts from bread and cut into fingers or triangles.

Step 2

Whisk together the egg and HEINZ® pouch.

Step 3

Pre-heat a frying pan over medium-low heat. Spray with a little oil.

Step 4

Dip bread pieces into egg mixture, coating each side well. Cook in frying pan for 2-3 minutes each side until golden and cooked through.

Step 5

Serve warm with remaining pouch puree and fresh fruit if desired.
Tip
Any additional toasts can be kept refrigerated and served as a snack at a later time.
